The Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining proper hygiene and grooming for patients with low mobility
- Preparing patient rooms with necessary items
- Assisting patients with regular meals and eating
- Monitoring vitals and patient behavior
- Assisting patients with mobility and transfer needs
- Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores
- Exercising patients by helping them walk
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or its equivalent
- Current Nursing Assistant I listing with the North Carolina registry
- Current Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
