We are expanding our operations and seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and trucks. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered equipment.

You will travel to job sites across the region, using your expertise to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy equipment and be proficient in welding, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience as a mechanic
  • At least 5 years of experience in diesel/heavy equipment repair
  • Post-secondary training in engineering or mechanics (a plus)
  • Welding experience a significant advantage

Additional qualifications include manual dexterity, a valid driver's license, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, along with an annual bonus/commission structure. This is a full-time position, requiring 5-10 years of experience.
