We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment PM Tech to join our team at our St Cloud, FL location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including compactors, dozers, excavators, motor graders, water trucks, and articulated dump trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to corporate and OSHA standards.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
The Heavy Equipment PM Tech will work in a fast-paced environment with extensive physical activity, requiring strenuous physical work, heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds. The role involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, requiring basic safety precautions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate service and technical information.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on diesel and yellow iron equipment.
