We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job SummaryThis role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff. Strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership are essential for excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
