Dental Hygienist Job Description

GoTu is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our community of dental professionals. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will have the flexibility to work on your own terms, choosing when, where, and how much you want to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screening, and radiographic studies to patients.
  • Prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping them.
  • Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
  • Select materials and equipment for dental hygiene visits by evaluating patients' oral health.

Requirements:

  • Active dental hygiene license in CT.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practice.
