Lead Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at CMG Leasing, Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the good condition and functionality of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, and more
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed
  • Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks and replacing windows
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures, such as landscaping, and other tasks as assigned
  • Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to the budget
  • Support the Maintenance Site Supervisor in implementing the plan of action for the "TURN" season
  • Ensure storage areas remain locked when not in use
  • Run Work Order reports and conduct Open Work Order meetings with the Site Manager
  • Run Time Summary reports and approve Time Sheets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is a plus
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or an equivalent field
  • Must have or obtain Core, Type 1, and Type 2 EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
  • Work hours: 40 hours per week with a one-hour lunch break between 11am and 2pm, unless otherwise approved by direct supervisor
  • Weekends and overtime as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis and for emergencies
