We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and executing various radiographic procedures, including prep studies, limited special procedures, and routine diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams as needed
- Assess patient condition and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent patient care
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- At least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
