Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for and assisting physicians with endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to medical protocols.
  • Provide patient care according to their age and medical needs, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to administrative policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient procedure execution.
Requirements
  • BLS (AHA required)
  • Must be Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Medical terminology
  • Previous Endoscopy Tech experience
  • Three (3) years or more on a Med/Surg unit or equivalent
  • Experienced medical assistant or certified nursing assistant
  • HSD/GED OR 2 years equivalent work experience

Please note that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
