- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

- Education: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- License and Certification: Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience: Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide holistic patient care, recognize situational changes, and respond to situations with confidence, timeliness, and flexibility.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, team members, and physicians.
