Inventory and Logistics Coordinator

At Rhino Tool House, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Logistics Specialist to oversee the entire inventory procurement and logistics process. This multifaceted role encompasses purchasing, supply chain management, inventory oversight, logistics coordination, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
- Source essential parts and products to fulfill customer orders and support future builds.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and pursue initiatives to enhance cost efficiency.
- Proactively assess potential business challenges and risks.
- Ensure timely receipt and reconciliation of purchase orders and shipments.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean projects to boost operational efficiency and safety.
Inventory Oversight:
- Manage warehouse inventory movements using our ERP system for all transactions.
- Receive and verify inventory accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Organize bin movements for inventory during material pulls for production.
- Conduct daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Lead yearly physical inventory counts and make necessary adjustments.
- Implement efficient tracking and movement strategies for inventory.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service, fostering positive experiences.
- Provide timely feedback and training to enhance team performance.
- Develop and monitor metrics to support outstanding customer interactions.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales to streamline order processing and minimize inefficiencies.
Logistics Coordination:
- Oversee daily shipments of racks and parts, ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
- Schedule Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Full-Truckload (FTL) shipments using third-party logistics providers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for seamless product movement through the warehouse.
- Manage receiving orders and ensure compliance with Rhino Tool House policies.
- Coordinate local pickups and deliveries in collaboration with production teams.
Expectations:
As an Inventory and Logistics Specialist, you will lead by example, influencing our company culture positively. While your hours may vary during peak periods, the standard start time for this role is 7:30 AM.
