Nissan Service Technician Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and repair skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $65 per hour
About the JobThis role involves performing a variety of tasks, including inspecting vehicle fluid levels, replacing oil and air filters, checking tire pressure, and communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, operating tools and equipment safely, and adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Document and perform work on repair orders in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount.
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as needed.
- Check tire pressure and add air if necessary.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Maintain shop area neat and clean.
- Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Perform work specified on repair order with efficiency and according to dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisor regarding additional services needed.
- Provide estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
We are seeking an individual with a strong foundation in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair, as well as willingness to learn new technology and procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong physical dexterity for working with tools, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, and excellent customer service skills. Punctuality, reliability, eagerness to improve, and basic computer skills are also essential.
- Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair skills preferred.
- Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude.
- Strong communication skills, collaborate well with others.
- Punctual and reliable Eagerness to improve.
- Basic computer skills.
- Military experience welcomed but not necessary.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
