Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team as a Traveling EKG Specialist in a Contract/Temporary/Travel position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on EKG machines.
  • Run and post rhythm strips at designated intervals to ensure accurate readings.
  • Validate computer readouts and notify nursing staff of any changes or abnormalities.
  • Verify lead placement on patients and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Test equipment for proper working order and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an EKG Technologist with a strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of procedures and protocols for EKG testing and interpretation.
