Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Life Care Center of Raynham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for planning modified diets, providing oversight for the food services department, and conducting nutritional assessments for patients.

• Consult with patients and families to understand their nutrition needs and goals
• Review menu plans to ensure they meet the nutritional needs of patients and maintain quality food service standards
• Plan modified diets for patients as requested by attending physicians
• Accurately and efficiently input dietary information into patient charts and dietary databases
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care meetings involving nutrition
• Assist with other food service duties as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients during emergencies

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or a related program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure or certification as required by the state
• Two years of experience in a healthcare facility, with prior post-acute care experience preferred
• Familiarity with standards of practice for geriatric patient assessment
• Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in a team environment
