About the Role

This part-time shuttle driver position involves driving a commercial vehicle to transport equipment between Ryder customer facilities.

You will be responsible for operating an empty trailer for transfer movements, ensuring the safe delivery of goods to our customers.

This role requires adherence to safety and DOT regulations, as well as maintenance of accurate records and logs.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport equipment between Ryder customer facilities
  2. Use empty trailers for transfer movements, ensuring the safe delivery of goods
  3. Maintain accurate records and logs, adhering to safety and DOT regulations

What We Offer

Ryder offers a competitive hourly rate of $20/hour, with opportunities for regular weekly pay.

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
