We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at the New York State Fairgrounds. As a Trades Generalist, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties in the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, alteration, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, ventilating, heating control, water, and drainage systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades.
  • Valid New York State driver's license.
