STS Technical Services is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team in Macon, Georgia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform structural repairs and fabrication of parts for aircraft. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft structures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural repairs and fabrication of parts according to approved repair/modification procedures.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets prescribed standards and tolerances.
  • Use measuring instruments and test equipment to verify fit and performance of installed units, parts, and equipment.
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, following blueprint lines and index points.
  • Identify and mark reference points and holes for installation of parts and components.
  • Provide information and documentation for engineering requests.
  • Comply with repair station procedures (RSM /QCM) and company policies (SOP) when performing aircraft or component maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High School/ GED
  • A&P license preferred
  • At least 2 years experience in aircraft structures or a related field
  • Ability to fabricate parts and read work orders, blueprints, and specifications
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to do work above head
  • Must be able to work at heights
