Recreation Therapist Pool II

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Therapist Pool II to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary staff, you will develop, plan, implement, facilitate, direct, and evaluate experiential therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement experiential therapy programs that promote psychosocial functioning and recovery skills in patients/residents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve treatment goals.
- Provide individualized treatment within a group setting, utilizing recreational activities to aid patients/residents in learning and applying recovery skills.
- Supervise student interns and coordinate their training and evaluation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies required; Master's degree preferred.
- Certification/registration through appropriate credentialing board preferred.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Formal training in management of aggressive patients required within 60 days of hire.
