We are looking for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, also known as our Cath Lab RN or IR Nurse, to play a vital role at Prime Healthcare. The Cath Lab RN is crucial in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of cardiac catheterization procedures, significantly aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions within the cardiac catheterization lab.
Compensation Package:
Eligible for a bonus of up to $25,000, distributed over a period of 90 days, 1 year, 1.5 years, and 2 years.
Available Shifts:
Day shifts with a 4/10 schedule, including some on-call responsibilities.
Employment Type:
Full-Time or PRN
Work Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and elderly populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects related to the surgical environment.
- Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Assist in the upkeep of equipment and inventory, ensuring the procedure room and equipment are functioning and ready.
- Procure necessary supplies for individual cases, meeting the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team.
- Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Continuously observe and document patient conditions while in the Cardiovascular lab.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Valid State of Georgia license or Compact RN license.
