Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work with our team in Martin, Tennessee. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering their questions, and providing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients and answering their questions
  • Programming and adjusting the scanner for specific procedures and ensuring the transducer captures images from every angle or section as needed
  • Deciding which still images or sonograms to capture and present to the Physician for diagnostic purposes
  • Evaluating images for quality and interpreting them to assist Physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases
  • Presenting images and preliminary findings to Physicians
  • Maintaining patients' records and medical notes on the ultrasound procedure
  • Maintaining the ultrasound equipment and sterilizing procedure rooms
  • Assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
