Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer to join our team at Resource Informatics Group. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our ServiceNow implementations and integrations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans for various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.).
  • Executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on ServiceNow applications, including configurations and customizations.
  • Collaborating with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate test coverage.
  • Leveraging automated testing tools (e.g., ATF, Selenium) to build efficient testing processes.
  • Validating ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, scripts, and UI policies to ensure that all implementations meet specified requirements.
  • Performing API testing and data validation for integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Reporting defects in JIRA or a similar bug-tracking tool and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and providing input on user stories and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective.
  • Maintaining adherence to ServiceNow best practices and contributing to continuous improvement processes.
Requirements:
  • 5-6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years dedicated to ServiceNow QA.
  • Experience with ServiceNow testing tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) and familiarity with external tools like Selenium.
  • Strong knowledge of various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM) and ability to test both out-of-the-box features and custom applications.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Proficiency in defect management and test case management tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, TestRail.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow data models, workflows, and integrations.
  • Solid experience in manual testing and ability to transition to test automation.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript (for ServiceNow customizations) is a plus.
