Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Clinical Nurse to join our team at Progress West Hospital. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide direct patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • RN licensure and current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience in emergency nursing, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Experience working in a level II trauma center or similar environment.
  • Certification in emergency nursing or related specialty.
  • Leadership experience or participation in quality improvement initiatives.
