Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, medication plans, and diagnostic results upon their admission to the unit.

2. Regularly monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels, to ensure patient stability.

3. Utilize advanced medical equipment to interpret critical health data accurately.

4. Administer prescribed medications and adjust dosages as necessary, adhering to established protocols.

5. Perform comprehensive evaluations of any changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.

6. Communicate any significant changes in patient status to the healthcare team and execute care plans as directed.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including charts and medical documentation.

8. Supervise nursing assistants and support personnel within the Progressive Care Unit.

9. Provide clear explanations of treatments and procedures to patients and their families, addressing any inquiries they may have.

Qualifications:

Education: Must possess a valid RN license with specialization in Progressive Care.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit is preferred.

Certifications Required:

1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

2. Active RN license.
