Ambulance Dispatcher

Bell Medical Transport is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ambulance Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating ambulance transport services, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, collecting vital information and prioritizing calls accordingly.
• Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including facilities, field staff, patients, and other agencies, to facilitate efficient operations.
• Dispatch ambulance crews to patients, considering factors such as location, priority, and available resources.
• Monitor crew status during transports, providing updates as necessary to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead team members.
• Prior dispatch experience preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude, outstanding customer service, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of patient transportation methods, common issues that arise during transport, and the functions of healthcare facilities.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,000 - $68,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
