Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Military Security Officer. As a key member of our security forces, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, facilities, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform base entry and commercial vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and equipment on and off the base.
  • Monitor access gates, patrol base buildings and grounds, and monitor vehicle traffic/parking.
  • Conduct random searches of persons and property.
  • Conduct criminal history records, vehicle registration, and driving records checks.
  • Issue base entry passes for visitors and contractors.
  • Participate in ground defense disaster functions and emergency security measures.
  • Maintain government equipment and facilities, including small arms maintenance and cleaning.
Requirements
  • High school education plus experience in military or civilian security or law enforcement.
  • Background check and secret security clearance required.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license required.
  • Must be qualified to be licensed and bear firearms.
  • Ability to work a 24-hour facility and participate in shift bids.
