Our Challenge

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our technologically advanced team focused on developing and enhancing Lending applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data modeling, database programming, and database concepts, with experience in implementing mission-critical applications. Proficiency in related technologies, including database indexes, query tuning, and optimization, is essential. The role requires an understanding of the banking technology landscape and the ability to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities with proprietary system builds.

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL
  • Optimize database queries and performance
  • Provide innovative solutions to data engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with global teams in Agile development methodologies
  • Lead IT deliverables and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements:

You are:
  • A seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in database development
  • Well-versed in database concepts and related technologies
  • Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming with DB2 and SQL Server databases
  • Experienced in performance tuning, optimizing database queries, and high-performance data processing
  • Skilled in using Version Control, Job Scheduling, and other related tools
  • Able to collaborate with partners and stakeholders across geography and time zones
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership skills
  • Practical experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Hold a minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
