Source Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Source Inspector to join our team at Verify, Inc. in the Aerospace/Defense industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies at various supplier facilities.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies, with a strong understanding of engineering requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, and industry standards.
  
• Report inspection results directly to the customer via web application.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any inspection-related issues.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection in the aerospace or defense industry.
  
• Strong understanding of engineering requirements and industry standards, including ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders.
  
• Experience using mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  

We offer a competitive salary range of $40.00 per hour, based on qualifications, and a 25-hour per week schedule. This is a W2 position with a 1-year duration.
