Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Data Lead to oversee the management, analysis, and interpretation of health data within our organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of health data, as well as extracting valuable insights to inform decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of health data from various sources, including electronic health records, claims data, surveys, and registries.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness through data validation, cleaning, and standardization processes.
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses and data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within health data.
  • Conduct predictive modeling, risk stratification, and outcome analysis to support population health management and clinical decision-making.
  • Interpret and communicate findings from health data analyses to key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, policymakers, and researchers.
  • Develop and produce regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators, quality metrics, and population health outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and industry standards.
  • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive health information and mitigate data breaches or security risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in health data management, analytics, or related role, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python), database management systems (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), and industry standards for health data management and security.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
