About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Imaging Operations Manager to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging centers and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute all financial objectives for Diagnostic Imaging, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Foster a cohesive work environment among technical staff and other departments, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  • Coordinate the practice's radiation safety program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Facilitate quality assurance programs, including MQSA, New York State radiation safety inspections, and ACR accreditation, ensuring that our imaging services meet the highest standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate all departmental and off-site patients billing, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Prepare and control the departmental operating budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Manage supply and equipment procurement, ensuring that our imaging centers have the necessary resources to provide high-quality care.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and information flow between the department and patients, ensuring that our patients receive excellent customer service.
  • Assist the Sr. Director in maintaining the physical plant of the Department, ensuring that our facilities are safe and well-maintained.
  • Research and develop improved service methodologies to provide patient service and improve department efficiencies, leveraging Lean Sigma principles.
  • Supervise payroll and payroll functions of the department, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain and administer department cash funds, ensuring that our financial resources are managed effectively.
  • Supervise co-payment collection and processing, ensuring that our patients are billed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and maintain budgetary and reorganization plans, ensuring that our department is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of previous, related work experience, including supervisory experience in imaging operations.
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required.
