About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled RN to join our team as a Permanent Substitute Float on the West Side. As a school-based nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with students, parents, and staff to provide high-quality healthcare services and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and support to students and staff in a school setting
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement health education programs
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential health issues
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of students
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless care coordination
- Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocol
- Strong preference for school-based or pediatric experience
- Collaborative and constructive team building skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Current CPR certification and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
