This position is responsible for assisting in the administration and monitoring of employee health programs at Shore Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain, verify, and record employees' health history, gathering relevant data as needed.
- Perform drug testing, administer PPDs, flu shots, and fit testing according to established guidelines.
- Adhere to infection control/safety protocols and maintain confidentiality policies at all times.
- Document interventions, patient responses, medications dispensed/administered, and test results in medical records, ensuring accurate and timely chart maintenance.
- Promote wellness by providing patients with educational materials, communicating advice from physicians and allied health professionals, and addressing patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain exam room supply levels, ordering necessary supplies and medication as directed.
- Function within delegated authority, adhering to practice policies and procedures.
- Represent Employee Health Services on committees, effectively communicating with small groups.
- Valid New Jersey State LPN license.
- BLS Certification.
- Able to perform dosage calculations and basic laboratory procedures.
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions, as well as an understanding of documentation standards.
- Ability to stand, squat, walk, bend, and maneuver daily, with capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
