BAYADA Home Health Care is a leading provider of home health care services, seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes.
Job OverviewThis is a part-time or per diem opportunity performing home health visits for our office that services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Washington County. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients, helping them to recover from illness or injury and maintain their independence.
About the RoleAs a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, your responsibilities will include:
- Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services.
- Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility assessments, transfer status evaluations, and balance testing.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
- Continually assessing and revising the care plan, participating with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan as needed.
- Educating and instructing clients, family members, or other client representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote healthy living.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We also offer mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and weekly pay and direct deposit.
