Job Title: Assistant Teacher for Young Learners

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and caring Assistant Teacher to support our lead teacher in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for our preschool age children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote children\u2019s cognitive, social, and emotional development
* Supervise children during circle time and ensure their safety and well-being
* Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
* Communicate effectively with parents and staff members
* Model good hygiene and self-help skills for children
* Ensure a smooth transition from home to child care center
* Follow all center policies and state regulations

Requirements:

* Have or be willing to work towards a CDA or above
* Pass a background check
* Pass a drug test
* Possess a heart for teaching and making a difference in children\u2019s lives

Nice to Have:

* High energy and flexibility
* Ability to work well with others
* Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
* Understanding of child development
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
