We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders
- Set up and operate machinery to produce precision parts and components
- Use blueprints, sketches, and job instruction sheets to produce dimensions and tolerances
- Enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit control information for CNC machines
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Rework parts that don't meet specifications
- Follow all ISO procedures and safety rules, including wearing personal safety equipment
- Route completed parts to next machine according to the routing sequence
- Perform data entry on the computer to update part locations
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 to 5 years machining experience at a minimum
