This role is not confined to a singular project; rather, it involves continuous efforts across diverse sectors to fortify our systems and guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Counterparty Risk Regulatory Reporting:
- Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive counterparty risk regulatory reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure precise and prompt reporting in alignment with all applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to interpret regulatory mandates and convert them into technical solutions.
Technology Infrastructure Enhancement:
- Initiate and drive projects to upgrade and optimize our technological infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and resilient technological solutions to meet the organization's requirements.
- Work in close partnership with IT and other departments to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation within the infrastructure.
SQL Development:
- Leverage advanced SQL expertise to create, optimize, and maintain intricate database queries and reports.
- Support data analysis and reporting needs across various departments.
- Ensure data integrity and performance of SQL databases.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Engage with various teams, including IT, Compliance, Risk Management, and Business Operations, to align technological solutions with business goals. Provide technical expertise and support to facilitate the smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in counterparty risk regulatory reporting.
- Expert SQL capabilities with a solid background in technology infrastructure development.
- Experience in designing and implementing technological infrastructure solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and requirements.
