Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, web secure gateways, and network admission control systems.
  • Manage and maintain network security platforms, including firewalls, web secure gateways, and DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  • Proactively engage with peers and key stakeholders to complete objectives and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Participate in risk assessments and address any findings, as necessary.
  • Implement and manage solutions in adherence to the SOP for Network Security.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting a hybrid network with multiple vendor technologies.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity controls and technologies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, security incident event managers, public key infrastructure, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Industry recognized Network Security Certification preferred.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with network segmentation techniques, secure web gateways, next-generation firewalls, network admission control systems, hybrid cloud environments, wireless security, and DHCP, DNS, and IPAM.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies, including routing and switching protocols, IPsec and GRE tunnels, RADIUS, TACACS+, and VRFs.
