Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer II

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer II to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support the development of innovative cloud computing solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of cloud engineers and architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, experience with AWS services, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS to support the development of cloud computing solutions.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve cloud infrastructure and solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud security, including AWS IAM and Cognito.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and tools, including AWS Migration Hub.

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,200/year in our highest geographic market.
