Job Title: Air Emissions Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Emissions Monitoring Specialist to join our team at Pinnacle Group. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support in continuous emissions measurement systems testing configuration and reporting to state and federal agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine to moderately complex work assignments and tasks with limited work supervision.
  • Provide technical support in continuous emissions measurement systems testing configuration and reporting to state and federal agencies.
  • Develop and implement monitoring plans, review test protocols, and analyze data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and guidance regarding CEMS events.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, including Excess Emissions Reports, Monitoring Plans, and Audit Reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in continuous emissions monitoring systems, with a strong understanding of applicable air regulations.
  • Proficiency in ESC Spectrum StackVision software and ability to process CEMS data.
  • Excellent technical writing and professional writing skills, with the ability to edit in MS Word and Adobe PDF.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Part 63 DDDDD & UUUUU (MATS and IBMACT) reporting requirements.
  • Ability to review air permits, CEMS monitoring plans, CEMS Audit Reports, and Stack Test Reports.
  • Familiarity with the USEPA's ECMPS and CDX databases.
