Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist IV, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and assess patients using aseptic technique and adhere to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to policy and training.
  • Function effectively in clinical emergencies and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and medications.
  • Produce accurate and complete medical records for each patient.
  • Take call as rotated/assigned and respond to policy.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Current, valid license in Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
