Job Title: License Center Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented License Center Specialist to join our team at Nicollet County, MN. As a License Center Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the public with various transactions, including vehicle registrations, driver's licenses, and vital records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily motor vehicle transactions, including registrations, title applications, and plate and sticker inventory
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns, both in person and over the phone
  • Issue and record vital records, including birth, death, and marriage certificates
  • Calculate and open office counters and balance all cash drawers on a daily basis
  • Perform data entry and processing of driver's license applications and duplications
Requirements:
  • No experience or education beyond a high school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
