Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of fresh and shelf-stable products, particularly salsas, sauces, and other similar products. They will be responsible for overseeing operational activities, improving performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee supply chain, engineering, R&D, quality control, and production processes
  • Develop and implement process improvements to meet changing business needs
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, and CODEX guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with a focus on process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Experience with wastewater management and ERP/Redzone/NetSuite systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create effective plans and drive results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
Work Environment

The Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to plant equipment noise and seasonal temperature fluctuations. The successful candidate will be required to stand for prolonged periods, walk, and climb stairs, with the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
