Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to work with our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exercise instruction, patient education, and assisting with physical therapy treatments in a home health setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exercise instruction and patient education to patients in their homes
  • Assist with physical therapy treatments, including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and gait training
  • Observe, record, and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members, as needed
  • Provide education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and exercises
Requirements:
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
