Position Summary:
This role is designed for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will learn about our facility and contribute to various tasks aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and personal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust machinery and equipment
- Utilize computer systems for data entry and record-keeping related to safety and operational processes
- Engage in a fast-paced environment to perform tasks such as weighing, bagging, packing, and sanitizing the facility
- Collaborate with team members and management to foster continuous improvement and teamwork
- Communicate effectively regarding equipment operation, safety concerns, and product quality
- Adhere to safety, environmental compliance, and food quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Exhibit punctuality and maintain attendance as per company policy
- Train on equipment operation for bulk material handling, including trucks and forklifts

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in production or a similar environment is advantageous

Training Requirements:
- Complete safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
- Participate in operational training programs
- Equipment training may include forklift and other machinery

Working Conditions:
- Non-air-conditioned production environment with varying temperatures
- Exposure to dust and noise levels that may require hearing protection
- Required personal protective equipment (PPE) includes uniforms, hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes

Physical Demands:
- Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 55 pounds
- Willingness to wear respirators when necessary
- Ability to traverse up to two miles during a workday

Work Hours:
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
