Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As an Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other related examinations to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other related examinations to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, including Philips ie33 and EPIQ machines
  • Develop and implement protocols for echocardiography procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
  • RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with echocardiography equipment and software
