Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Automotive Detailer to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and appearance for our vehicles.
Responsibilities- Wash and clean vehicle exteriors, including windows and doorjambs.
- Apply wax and buff auto body surfaces.
- Vacuum interior spaces to remove dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces.
- Clean engine and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore appearance as needed.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
- Ensure proper stickers are displayed in vehicle windows.
- Remove window stickers from sold vehicles.
- Keep work areas neat and clean.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety issues to management.
- Prior experience in detailing is preferred.
- Experience using a buffer and carpet extractor is a plus.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
