UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our team's success. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
