We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team at Maxar Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to our USG customers.

- Work with customers to improve their architecture and engineering workflows and processes.
- Responsible for articulating and capturing the architecture, system requirements, system design, and testing approach.
- Investigate and capture "As Is" architecture or workflows; identify "To Be" states; and make recommendations on transition from "As Is" to "To Be".
- Develop standard and repeatable processes, as appropriate, to recommend on architecture, engineering, development, and integration projects.
- Produce and support leadership team in the identification and creation of Enterprise Architecture Repository artifacts as required.
- Support engineering review boards.
- US citizenship with a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. In lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of experience may be substituted.
- 8 years of experience.
- Experience performing all/most aspects of the system engineering (requirements analysis, interface control documentation, ConOps development, Use Case development, data flows, and developing Test Plans).
- Familiarity with a Requirements Tool.
- SCRUM/AGILE Development (Jira).
- Familiar with deployment and maintenance of Development, Test, and Operational environments.
- Certification in Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with software and system development projects using model-based system engineering.
- Familiar with Enterprise Architecture concepts, System Engineering Principles as depicted in the System V, and MBSE realizing in a model.
- Worked on a team using Agile or SAFe development processes.
- Practices best practices when writing requirements.
The salary range for this position is $107,000.00 to $229,000.00 annually. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
