Wellsite Specialist

Job Description

As a Wellsite Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing communication and radio devices, verifying successful data transmission, and supporting field operations with preventive maintenance and monitoring of field network devices.

Duties

• Maintain and install communication and radio devices, verify/test/troubleshoot successful data transmission.
• Support field operations with preventive maintenance and monitoring of field network devices.
• Track workload and document troubleshooting, and corrective actions taken to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Intermediate communications understanding/troubleshooting – TCP/IP and RTU RS485 Modbus Network Connectivity, modem configurations, radio configurations, Network settings and IP, gateway, subnet mask understanding and RTU Slave and Master configurations with limited to no supervision.
• Entry Level Automation understanding to correlate end device configuration and Graphical Interfaces and control narrative cause and effect logic/functions.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
