Job Title: Transmission Line Foreman

At Pike Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of crew members to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects.
  • Conduct pre-job briefings and tailgate meetings to review safety procedures and job plans.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve issues related to transmission line maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement safe work practices to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transmission line maintenance and repair.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate crew members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical stamina to perform rigorous physical labor and work at heights.
  • Valid CDL and safe driving record.
Work Environment:

As a Transmission Line Foreman, you will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including construction sites, transmission line corridors, and substations. You will be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather. You will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate crew members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
