Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Bon Secours Mercy Health is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as a highly diverse medical skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient status and provide care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses
  • Implement clinical nursing interventions and develop patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Mercy Health policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Nursing or Associate of Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care)
