About the Role

Huntington Beach Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide direct and indirect care services to patients, utilizing your technical and manual skills to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care services, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist with triage and emergency response, utilizing EMTALA regulations and triage process.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification and IV certification upon hire.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
